Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it was aimed to determine the fungal flora in diseased plant in field and seed samples taken from producers of different districts in Antalya, Burdur, Denizli and Afyon for anise, Burdur and Antalya for fennel. For this purpose, diseased plants of anise and fennel from the fields and seeds samples from growers were collected and isolations were performed. Ten different fungus genera were isolated from the samples taken from anise and fennel production areas. The most common species of Fusarium genus were isolated from the samples taken from the field. The species belonging to the genus Fusarium were identified as F. chlamydosporum, F. graminearum, F. oxysporum, F. proliferatum, F. solani and F. tritinctum. Pythium, Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia, Verticillium, Sclerotinia, Sclerotium and Macrophomina were also isolated. When the results of seed tests were examined, saprobic and pathogenic species were isolated. Species belonging to 12 different genera were obtained from anise and fennel seeds. Among the Fusarium species, Fusarium oxysporum and F. graminearum from the anise and F. oxysporum and F. solani from the fennel were isolated. Pathogenicity test was performed by selecting one isolate among some important species. Among Fusarium species, F. oxysporum caused 88% and 86% disease severity in anise and fennel, respectively. However, as a result of the pathogenicity test, other species could be disease agent.
