Abstract (EN)

Communication has existed as an inevitable necessity between people from past to present. Communication was sometimes provided through language and sometimes through visual means. With the development of technology, communication ways have started to show diversity. The word design, which we hear frequently today, starts with the thought in the mind, and is transformed into action and product by the designer, taking into account various rules. In the work of art, the scale is evaluated according to the overall work, and the ratio-proportion is accepted as the relationship between the units in the work. Ratio and scale in a work of art have an important role in understanding the work. Since art has existed, human beings have used many methods to express themselves, and one of them is playing with proportion and scale. In addition, proportion and scale are key design elements that help the viewer understand a work.
