Abstract (EN)

The methodological study was conducted to test the validity and reliability of the Feelings Towards Group Work developed by Cantwell and Andrews in 2002 to adapt to the Turkish language. The research was carried out between April 2018 and August 2018 with 254 students studying at Ege University Faculty of Nursing and 27 students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department. Data were collected using "Attitude Scale for Group Work". Internal consistency and test retest analysis were used for evaluating the validity of the research data, language validity, coverage validity, construct validity and reliability. The "Attitude Scale for Group Work" has been translated into Turkish and rejected for language validity. 10 expert opinions have been consulted in the provision of coverage. The Scope Validity Index was found to be .961. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Rasch Analysis were used for the construction validity. In this analysis, the compliance indices of " Feelings Towards Group Work " were 2781,29, χ2 / sd = 1.93, AGFI = 0,87, GFI = 0,90 RMSA = 0,061, SRMR = 0,066, RMR = 0,073, CFI = 0,97. The compliance values of all the items of the scale were found within the expected limits of the Rasch model. The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was found to be Cronbach α = 0.863 for the Individual Learning Preference subscale, α = 0.909 for the Group Learning Preference subscale, and α = 0.832 for the Group Learning Disturbance subscale. The Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation Coefficient was used in the test retest analysis performed two weeks apart to assess the time invariance of the scale. It was determined that there was a positive, meaningful fit at a high level according to this analysis. As a result, " Feelings Towards Group Work " has a similar structure to the original scale and is a valid and reliable measurement tool for Turkish society.
