Transcription and evaluation of Ottoman archive documents of H.1189-1249 / M.1775-1833 on the Haydaranlu Tribe

The aim of this study is to analyse Haydaranlı Tribe who lived at the borders of Eastern and Southeastern of Anatolia where they often tensed up the relations between Ottoman and Iran as a result of transpositions.In this study, the documents obtained from the Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry were given and a summary was given about each document. At the end of the study a general evaluation was made. Thus, the general relation of the Haydaran tribe with the Ottoman, Iran and other tribes in the region was determined. In order to explain the subject in a more understandable situation and to see the background of the events more clearly, the process of Turkishization in the history of Anatolia is mentioned briefly and the political, social and economic dimensions of the tribes are examined. It has also been explained with positive and negative reference of both land reforms and their influence on tribes which made to break the power of the tribes in both the Republic of Turkey in the State and the Ottoman Empire.
