A research on the tendecy to internet addiction of primary school 2nd grade students

When we talked about addiction and its varieties the first things come to mind would be gambling,narcotic and smoking however the rise of scientific and technological developments and reflection to our lives makes the role of computers,cell phones and internet essential for our daily life.Therefore,after the wide spreading of technology,a different type of addictions are being detected and internet addiction is one of them.The impact area of internet addiction has no certain age or gender group.İnternet addiction has been observed in younger age groups than other addiction types. Due to popularity and importance of internet addiciton,in this research internet addiction among primary education students will be the dependent variable.The Binary and Multinominal Logistic Regression analysis has been preferred in this research by cause of the dependent variables,internet addiction among primary education students is a categorical variable. The purpose of the research is to determine the factors of internet addiction among primary education students who joined the survey voluntarily and analyzing the impact of determining factor through Binary and Multinominal Logistic Regression analysis on SPSS 22.The demographic survey among primary education students has been chosen as an independent variable Key words: Binary and Multinominal Logistic regression analysis, Factor Analysis, Internet, Internet Addıctıon, Spss
