The assessment of class management adequacy of second stage primary education teachers according to student perception

This research is based upon ?The Assessment of Class Management Adequacy of Second Stage Primary Education Teachers According to Student Perception?. The research consist of five components as introduction and problem situation, student-teacher relation in class management, methods, findings and observations, outcome, discussion and suggestions. As part of this research, a survey has been carried out to 753 students in Gaziosmanpasa in four different regions and in eleven different schools. The required information had been given to students before the survey. The research showed that to be an effective teacher you need to have fallowing qualities; when trying to change and correct undesirable behaviour, the teacher should select the improvement and prevent discipline models rather than reactional discipline models; class rules should be determined and put into practice approach should be considered; the activities to be undertaken should be planned and put in to practice; the practice of going into lessons on time and prepared; dedicated to work, determined and consistent; self improvement in their own time, prepared in advance, treat each students at the same standards and equally; reward and strengthen; refrain from corporal punishment; to use good body language and finally any teacher who has not had class management training needs to have comprehensive training in this subject.
