شرح قصيدة البردة للإمام أحمد بن محمَّد بن أبي بكر بن محمَّد الشيرازي -كان حيًّا 809ه- دراسةً وتحقيقاً.

The commentary of Sheikh Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin Muhammad Al-Shirazi - who was alive in 809 AH - of the Burda poem called "Al-Kawakeb Al-Duriya" by Imam Al-Busiri is considered as one of the most valuable explanations. It is a brief explanation in which the author analyzed the words of the poem without elaboration, in order to facilitate understanding it. The importance of this study comes from the popularity of the poem and its good reception by the general public and specialists. The study followed the historical descriptive approach when reveiwing the biographical and scholarly biographies of Sheikh Shirazi, and the scientific method used in the investigation and commentary on the book: such as writing the text, justify the text with diacritics, comparing the copies, attributing the sayings, and extracting the issues and documenting them. The most important conclusion of the study was as follows: Al-Shirazi's book is characterized by the ease of its utterance, Fluency of its phrases, and the author care of explaining every word, composition, and analogy in a manner that does not hide his great admiration for the poem. He also cited some meanings from the Qur'an and Sunnah, and explained most of its vocabulary from Taj Al-Lughah and Sahih Al-Arabiyyah by Al-Jawhari, and the Dustour of the Arabic Language by Al-Ntanzi. He frequently mentioned the opinions of Sibawayh, and Al-Farra in his grammatical comments, also he added brief explanations of some of the spiritual and psychological meanings of Al-Burdah poem, which gave his explanation an extra scientific value over its grammatical and rhetorical one.
