The evaluation of Imam Suyuti's work titled et-Tahbîr fî Îlmi't-Tefsîr in terms of Quranic sciences

This study examines the contribution of Imam Suyuti to tafsir science within the framework of his first work in the field of Quranic sciences, titled ?et-Tahbîr fi İlmi?t-Tefsîr?, completed in 872 Hijri. This work describes Suyuti?s approach to Quranic sciences in general terms; what he understands from Quranic sciences; and how he defines the limits of this science.Accordingly, Imam Suyuti?s work was read thoroughly, and the subjects that summarize his approach to this science and his opinions in this field were identified. These subjects informed a general framework, defining Suyuti?s perception of tafsir science, and his method of evaluating the subjects.The chosen subjects chosen were addressed in three parts.In the first part, Reported Quranic Sciences, discusses five Quranic sciences. In the second part, four Quranic sciences were examined under the title Comprehension-based Quranic Sciences. In the third part, four Quranic sciences were examined within the theme of Language and Literature-related Quranic Sciences.The Introduction briefly describes the purpose, subject, and method of the study.
