Abstract (EN)

My primary goal while preparing this treatise is to detect the the form of the connection between sensed mother's and father's behaviors of the 3rd and 4th grade elementary school students, and their fear of negative evaluation levels, gender and belief of self efficacy. The study was conducted with 403 students in Yavuztürk Elementary School in Üsküdar, İstanbul in the period of 2018-2019. Students were asked to fill out some forms within the scope of this work, which are explained as follows. "Personal Information Form" which is prepared by the writer was applied to obtain informations about the structure of populations of the pupils, the "Parenting Attitude Scale"which adapted by Yılmaz (2000) was given to find pupil's sensed parent's behaviors, "The Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale" adapted by Erkan (2002) was filled by the children to be informed about the fear levels of the pupils were assessed, and "Self-Efficacy Scale" for children developed by Çetin (2007) was runned to get an idea about self efficacy sensation of the primary school pupils. Informations accessed through forms were analyzed by "SPSS 16.0." For assessing the results obtained from the forms, descriptive statistics methods were primarily preferred. We took the significance level as .05. while evaluating the datums. We benefited from; "independent sample t test" for binary group comparisons, from "ANOVA" for "multiple comparisons", from "pearson moment product correlation" and "multiple regression assessment techniques" for the feature of the connection of dependent and independent factors. At the end of the work we discovered that there is considerable intercourse between mother's and father's behaviors and self efficacy, while there was no meaningfull intercourse among the self efficacy and fear of negative evaluation and gender. However; considerable intercourse among parental attitudes and fear of negative evaluation; the gender and parent's behaviors and fear of negative evaluation in favor of girls. Last of all, positive mother's and father's manners and acceptance of their children and showing interest; raise the self-perception and decrease the fear of being appraised. Parent's authoritarian-rigid attitudes, the constant control of children adversely affect the self-efficacy perception, and negative the fear of being assessed in an unfavourable manner. Key Words: Parental attitudes, social concern or fear, fear of evaluation, self-efficacy.
