Abstract (EN)
Aim: This study was conducted to determine the satisfaction level of patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention with health services. Methodology: The data of the descriptive cross-sectional study were collected at Maysan Heart Center between April 2022 and September 2022. The sample consists of 307 individuals. Data were collected with sociodemographic form and Patient Satisfaction Scale-III (PSQ-III). In the analysis of data, t-test and ANOVA tests were used in the analysis of descriptive statistics (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and quantitative data. Results: 64.2% of the participants were male, 30.6% were between the ages of 55-64, 81.4% were living in rural areas, 73% were married, 25.1% were primary school graduates, 49%, 2 of them were not working, 54.4% are middle-income. Of the patients, 43.6% had coronary artery insufficiency, 7.2% were smokers, 72.6% had never been to a hospital, 78.5% had never had an operation before, and 77.5% were specialist physicians. 78.2% of them stated that they waited less than 30 minutes at the center's outpatient reception, and 72.6% of them waited less than 1 week for the procedure. The mean total score of PSQ-III was 184.57±15.54. The satisfaction level of the male participants, those living in rural areas, primary school graduates, retirees, those working in public institutions, those with a high-income level, those without chronic diseases, those who smoked, those who had no previous hospital experience, and those who had not undergone any surgery, were higher than the other groups (p<0.05). Conclusion and Recommendations: According to the results of our study, the satisfaction level of the participants from the health services is high. Nursing care directly affects the satisfaction level. It can be suggested that sample practices affecting satisfaction in this center be shared with public institutions and organizations and supported. 2023, 112 pages Keywords: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Patient Satisfaction, Health Services
