Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the work stress and organizational commitment in working life. For this reason, the research data were collected by using the questionnaire technique on the employees of Ege University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. The population of the survey are consists of 550 personnel who have been transferred from Subcontractor to Staff. As a result of the analyzes, moderate level of work stress and higher levels of organizational commitment were determined. Continuous commitment, which is a sub-dimension of organizational commitment, varies according to marital status. However, emotional commitment showed significant differences in terms of stress levels. According to the results of the Independence Test; people with less stress have more affective commitment. In addition, an inverse relationship between affective commitment and work stress was observed and it was revealed that correlation and regression analysis showed that work stress affects organizational commitment. In this study, if the work stress is taken under control, the organizational commitment of the employees increases. As a result of this, business and organization productivity increases.
