The impact of employees? s personality characteristics to job stress

Personality, established with the individual's internal and external environment, distinguishing from other individuals,consistent and unified structure is a form of relationship. Individual's personality determine the form of relationship which established with internal and external environment. Personality which defined as a ?relationships format", moved from being an abstract theory and become a concrete concept observable in the behavior of individuals in each day. There is a close relationship between personality and stress. Stress encountered in daily life is often linked to events that are experienced. Whereas, the stress revealed depending on the personality characteristics of people who live event and the evaluation form of this event.The stres has became a part in everyday life and an indispensable element of. We are passing through a period which experiencing faster changes with each passing day and innovations are rapidly entering our lives. Studies about stress is based on very old dates. The majority of the studies in this area have been done in the last 30-40 years. Stress is emerging with a situation which is threatened the organism's physical and mental limits. The studies about stress in work life mostly focus on the productivity of the employees. What is essential for an individual is to establish an optimum level of stress and benefit from it.The purpose of this study to investigate the relationship between employees' personality characteristics and the levels of stres. When a person is faced with a stressor, react depanding on own perceptions and sense of style. Therefore, it is necessary to attract attention relationship between personality and stress level.
