Ismail Hakkî Bursevî Nakdü'l-Hâl (1A-75B) analysis - text

Ismail Hakkı Bursevi is one of the most prominent poets in the history of Ottoman Copright that has lots of works. He is also 32nd and last sheikh of Celvetiyye sect. As a mystic poet, he has also included "vâridât" to his subject diversity. The meaning of "varidat" is that flowing into the heart without a person's will. This study that we have prepared, is the text translation with in the type of "vâridât" by Ismail Hakkı Bursevi. The copy that we have worked is the copyist copy registered on T.Y. 2153 number in the Library of Nadir Eserler at Istanbul University. The writer's copy of the work is absent. In addition, to get the best text, comparative text critique was made with the copies registered on T.Y. 2161 number in the Library of Nadir Eserler at Istanbul University and on 1515 number in the Library of Süleymaniye Yazma Eserler at the department of Atıf Efendi. In this study, which was prepared to bring "Nakdü'l-Hâl" into the world of literature, after the essential knowledge about was given İsmail Hakkı Bursevi was handled, his works were listed according to subject closification knowledge about the period of time when he lived was given. After the essential knowledge about Bursevi's tradition of "varidat" and sufistic terms were given, the text translation with transcription was incuded and the study was completed to be added the whole original text.
