Abstract (EN)

This research, which was planned to determine the superior/differential cornelian cherry genotypes of natural cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L., Corneceae) population, was carried out in Sav Town of Isparta Province in 2018-2019. Phenological and pomological characteristics of 42 selected cornelian cherry were examined and 15 genotypes were selewcted by evaluating the findings with cluster analysis. Phenological periods; bud break was observed in mid February and end of February, beginning of flowering in mid Febuary and early March, the full bloom was observed during March, end of bloom period in mid March and mid April, and the picking time of fruits was observed in late August and mid September. The number of days from full bloom to harvest was observed as 170-185. The highest values in terms of pomological characteristics; fruit width (16.99 mm) SAV 37, fruit length (22.67 mm) SAV 37, seed width (6.39 mm) SAV 36, seed length (15.82 mm) SAV 37, fuit weight (4.81 g) SAV 37, fruit flesh weight (4.35 g) SAV 37, seed weight (0.56 g) SAV 41 genotypes were determined to have. TSS is between 8.90% (SAV 41) and 16.83% (SAV 25), titratable acidity is between 1.83% (SAV 41) and 3.47% (SAV 9), pH 3.12 (SAV 26) and 3.32 (SAV41), vitamin C 1.20 mg/100 g (SAV 38) to 79.40 mg/100 g (SAV 37). According to cluster analysis; SAV 9, SAV 13, SAV 16, SAV 18, SAV 22, SAV 23, SAV 25, SAV 26, SAV 27, SAV 29, SAV 36, SAV 37, SAV 38, SAV 39, SAV 41 genotypes were selected far from each other in terms of the characteristics considered. SAV 37 genotype was determined to have superior characteristics in terms of fruit width, fruit length, fruit weight and many other quality parameters.
