Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the resistance status of Monilinia laxa isolates obtained from sweet cherries, sour cherries, and apricots in Isparta, Afyonkarahisar, and Konya provinces against cyprodinil, thiophanate methyl, and captan fungicides and the effects of the same fungicides on the superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) enzyme activities of M. laxa. Among the 91 M. laxa isolates obtained from plant parts such as flowers, branches, and fruits of sweet cherries, sour cherries, and apricots in the survey areas, 35 isolates were selected as representatives and EC50 values against cyprodinil, thiophanate methyl, and captan fungicides were determined by petri tests. It was determined that the resistance of M. laxa isolates to cyprodinil, thiophanate methyl, and captan fungicides was 2.86 %, 20 %, and 34.3 %, respectively. According to the results of the study conducted to determine the effect of fungicides on the SOD and CAT enzyme activities of M. laxa isolates grown in potato dextrose broth medium and exposed to fungicides for a certain period of time (0, 4, 8, and 24 hours), it was determined that 10 ppm cyprodinil, 10 ppm thiophanate methyl, and 100 ppm captan fungicides had no statistically significant effect on SOD and CAT enzyme activities in M. laxa. According to the literature review, this study represents the first investigation aimed at determining the relationship between the resistance of M. laxa to cyprodinil, thiophanate methyl, and captan fungicides and the activities of SOD and CAT enzymes.
