Abstract (EN)

In this M.Sc. thesis, height, diameter at base, diameter at breast height, crown diameter and number of individuals were studied at 30 year Ehrami black pine (Pinus nigra Arnold. ssp. pallasiana var. pyramidata) afforestation by four sampled areas each of them 500 m2 selected from Isparta district. Beside, the species was compared for the characteristics by Anatolian black pine [Pinus nigra Arnold. subsp. pallasiana (Lamb.) Holmboe] and Taurus cedar (Cedrus libani A. Rich.). Averages of height, diameter at base, diameter at breast height, crown diameter and number of individuals were 9.9 m, 29.3 cm, 25.1 cm ve 302.5 cm in Ehrami black pine, respectively. Sampled areas showed significant difference (p<0.05) for the characteristics except of crown diameter (p>0.05). There was significant difference (p<0.05) for the characteristics among Ehrami black pine, Anatolian black pine and Taurus cedar based on results of analysis of variance. Anatolian black pine showed higher growth performance than others. Positive and significant (p<0.05) relations among the characteristics were estimated generally. Results of the study should be taken into consideration in forestry practices of the species.
