Analysis of the narrative "Were it not for bani Israel, meat would not decay; and were it not for Eve, no woman would betray her husband" in terms of hadith technique

It is know that the news/stories about of the past nations has an important place in the hadith of the prophet. The prophet warned his companions by various reasons about avoiding the mistakes that past nations had made and sometimes suggested to them that should take a sample some of the behaviors of the past nations. This hadith is an example to this kind of varnings. The prophet said, "Were It Not For Bani Israel, Meat Would Not Decay; And Were It Not For Eve, No Woman Would Betray Her Husband" . The narration has also appeared in many hadith sources, especially Sahihayn (two authentic hadith Works.) There is no information about the narration of place and time. In the main part of the study, the narration was criticized in term of isnad/the chain of transmission and matn/text. Twelve tariqs/paths of narration have been identified. All of the them tariqs are al-marfu. Ten of these tariqs are sahih/authentic, and two of them are dha 'if/weak. In addition, the rest of the narrations by the Companions Abu Hurairah. These narrations are sahih when considering the evaluations of expert hadith scholars; in terms of isnad and text. In this study, it was used contemporary views and Works, besides the authentic hadith Works. In the part of the study, the relevant narration was provided to the Qur'an, the Torah and the Gospel, the history and scientific data. As a result, the relevant narration is sahih in terms of isnad. Regarding to hadith experts this hadith based on habar-i wahid and is individual absolute in its parts. Keywords: The sons of Israel, Eva, Adam, Betray, Hadith, Extraction.
