Abstract (EN)

One of the key criteria of a country's level of development is that women are actively involved in the labor market. With globalization, women are becoming more visible in the changing labor market. The labor of the most employed woman in the service sector is found and required in every field. Success with women's employment policies will lead to increased female labor force, and this will also positively affect the countries' level of development. In the first part of our study, the concept of employment, the concept of economic growth, and the place of women's employment in the models of economic growth. The second chapter covers the historical process of women employment, employment, labor and unemployment rates of women in Turkey and the OECD countries, the World Bank and TUIK 2008-2021 data, describing women's employment policies in graphics and tables. In the third part, the literature is scanned, and in Turkey and the randomly selected OECD countries, we have proposed that women's employment contribute to economic growth, our dependent variable Economic Growth, our GDP, our argument for women's employment, is done through panel data analysis and in the results section.
