Digital transformation in public administration: An analysis on the digital transformation of public administration in Turkey

The importance of the concept of "digitalization" is increasing in the digital world revealed by the information society. Today, thanks to these technological advances, digital tools surround people's lives. In this context, the use of digital technologies by public sectors and their integration into services and processes have developed a faster, effective, efficient and accountable public administration approach. In line with this developing understanding, the importance of the digital state has increased considerably. Countries have begun to formulate policies, make laws and invest in information technologies for the digital transformation they want to achieve in public sectors. In the first part of the study; theoretical explanations about the concept of digital transformation were made and digital technologies were mentioned. In the second part of the study; theoretical information about the concept of digital state has been revealed. In the third part of the study, Turkey is also focused on the study of digital government.
