Abstract (EN)

Objective: To determine whether there is a difference in anaerobic power capacities of individuals who do karate and taekwondo sports was determined as the main purpose of the research. Materials and Methods: Volunteer athletes each participated in the research for 31 karate and 30 taekwondo branches. The anaeronic power capacities of the athletes (optimal load, maximum power, average power, minimum power, power drop and fatigue index) were measured. Whether the measurement results differ according to karate and taekwondo branches was analyzed with the Independent Sample T-Test using the SPSS 26 program. Results: As a result of the statistical analysis of the study data, there is no statistically significant difference between life satisfaction and physical activity as a result of the physical activity scale and all its sub-dimensions, life satisfaction scale and all its sub-dimensions and parametric analysis scales. However, it is seen that there are differences between the power situations used by the athletes who do karate and taekwondo. It was analyzed that there were no differences on subjects such as gender, education level, experience period of the participants. Conclusion: It has been understood that karate athletes have higher maximum power, average power and power drop averages than taekwondo athletes. Keywords: Karate, Taekwondo, Anaerobic Strength, Sports.
