Parliament journalism in Turkey: From point of source and reporter model view

ABSTRACT In the first chapter of the study is consisted the problem, aim, the importance with the assumptions the limitations, and the definitions of the study. And also, the methodology and the model of the study is pleaced with the gathering and the analysis of the data and the interpretation are involwed in the this chapter. News and the types of news are evaluated from a conceptual frame in the second chapter. Also the parliament news the parliament reporters and the Reporters of Parliament Association are consudered according to the relations among them. Moreover the parliament news are taken into consideration according to their differences that are energed belong to their conteints and constitations. In the third chapter of the study, the concept and process of communication, and mass communication concept are descriped placed. Also some news model taht are involved in the communication theory are defined. The relations of parliament reporters with parliamenters as sources of communication are assesed according to the Gieberjohson's model of source-reporter relations. The concepts and processes of public opinion and agendr setting are descirebed within the fourth chapter. And the effects of the parliament news and reporters over the process and constitution of public opinion and agendr settin are assesed in the this chapter. The results of a survey that is applied to the reporters of parliament and members of parliament are evaluated in the fifth chapter. The evaluation is made according to the influence that is energed from reporters and members of parliament. In the final chapter, the results are discussed and suggestions are made for study and in due course.
