The input section describes the purpose, target, scope. The work carried out in the area of folklore was later explained. The first part consists of the birth, second part, wedding part, third part death. In the first part of the study, the practices and beliefs of the birth cults were included. Applications that occur before, during childbirth and after childbirth are discussed in a comparative manner. This section focuses on similar and different birth-related applications by giving examples from different regions. In the second part of our study, practices and beliefs associated with birth in Turkish Kazakh and Bodrum region are addressed. The practices that took place before, during and after the birth are discussed sequentially under each heading. The practices and beliefs were compared with the practices and beliefs in different regions. In the theree part of our study, the practices and beliefs that are found in the Turkish Kazakh and Bodrum region, which is the last of the transitional periods, were classified as pre-death, the sequence of death and post-death. Practices and beliefs related to death are explained with examples from different regions.
