Materials Methods:In study, 72 patients who were operated with the indication of septate uterus at the depatment of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Faculty of Medicine Hospital between January 2018 and January 2022 were evaluated. The patients' hysterosalpingography (HSG) report, surgery notes, epicrisis and polyclinic records were examined through the hospital system. All patients were phoned from phone number retracted from hospital system. The Diagnosis of Septum was made with HSG, ultrasound and magnetic resonans imaging (MRI). 58 patients were operated with laparoscopy guided hysteroscopy. Results: When the birth data of the patients after septum resection were examined; Among all patients included in the study, live birth was 13.8% before septum resection, while this rate increased to 45.8% after resection(p=.0001). The pregnancy rate after the procedure was found to be 72.22%. The abortion rate among all patients was 55.5% before the procedure and decreased to 23.6% after the procedure (p=.0001). In addition, 33.33% of the participants had term births. Conclusion: Hysteroscopic uterine septum resection is an easy-to-apply and highly effective method. The results of the operation are quite successful. Hysteroscopic septum resection increases live birth rates and decreases abortion rates in patients with a history of habitual abortion and infertility. In order to evaluate the isolated success of septum surgery in pregnancy success and live birth, there is a need for prospective studies comparing follow-up treatment and surgical groups.
