Evaluation of anxiety status before and afterprocedure in patients to be applied coronary

The research was performed with 200 patients in order to evaluate before and after the procedure in patients with coronary angiography at Dicle University Heart Hospital. Demographic Information Form, Pre-Process and Post-Process Conditional Anxiety Scale was applied to the patients. State Anxiety Scale and Trait Anxiety Scale mean scores of the patients who will undergo coronary angiography were found to be significant before and after the procedure. It was determined that the state and trait anxiety of the patients decreased after the application. According to the gender, education, occupation, income, BMI status of the patients, their state and trait anxiety before and after the procedure are different. According to their social security and marital status, it was determined that their state and trait anxiety were similar both before and after the application. State and trait anxieties before and after the procedure were found to be different depending on admission to the hospital, hospitalization, surgery, anxiety about angiography, chronic illness, drug use, alcohol use, having a family member who died due to heart disease, reasons for anxiety, and which vessel was treated. It was determined that state and trait anxiety were similar both before and after the application, according to smoking, exercising, and having a family history of heart disease. As a result; It was determined that the state and continuity concerns of patients with coronary angiography were different before and after the procedure.
