The place of hadith and sunnah in the social, cultural and religious life of Kyrgyzs

This study exemines the period, starting with the Islamization process of the Kyrgyz, deals with how the values and principles of Islam came to life of Kyrgyz in the historical adventure. In the first part, we aimed to give general information about Kyrgyz, namely, the historical background of Kyrgyz, the fact how the religion of Islam came to Kyrgyz territory and how carried out. In addition, we tried to present the general framework of Kyrgyz economic and geographical structure. In the second and the main section, we tried to investigate the position of hadith and Sunnah in the culture accumulation from family institutions to religious holidays, attire and world view of Kyrgyz. İn the same way, we tried to find out how Islam, especially Hadith and Sunnah, became the active institution in converting the religious mentality of Kyrgyz.
