Abstract (EN)

Height, crown diameter and number of branches, and number and weight of mature fruits, and relationship among the characteristics were examined to contribute cultural practices such as tending, garden establishment based on one-year data (2019) of Crataegus monogyna which is an important medicinal and aromatic plant species in this study. Averages of the growth chatracteristics were 233.5 cm for height, 178.5 cm for crown diameter, and 2.7 for number of branches, while sampled individuals aspectual were similar for the height, crown diameter and number of branches. The similarity was also supported by results of analysis of variance that no significant difference (p>0.05) among aspects for the growth characteristics. Averages of number of fruits, varied widely (ranged from 2 to 1600) was 374.6 per individual. Average of mature fruit weight was 0.285 g per fruit. Average of mature fruit weight varied between 0.57 g to 456 g. was 99.1 g/individual. However aspect groups were similar (p>0.05) for the fruit production based on results of analysis of variance. Results of correlation analysis applied to estimate relationships among the characteristics showed positive and significant (p<0.05) relations among the characteristics.
