Abstract (EN)

Houses are undergoing changes in direct proportion to the needs and wishes of individuals as a result of the changing social, economic and cultural changes today. The reasons such as the high values of the lands which are close to the center, the difficulty of transportation access, and the fact that the concept of elementary family is more prevalent today, oblige us to live in areas with limited square meters. Changing living conditions affect individuals and naturally affect their living spaces as well. While the importance of small houses that emerged for such reasons is increasing day by day, it has become a type of housing that we can see more often. In examining the concept of space organization in small houses in terms of user comfort, the design criteria such as scale, texture, colour, pattern, lighting and interior-exterior relationship, as well as interior comfort conditions should be taken into account. Within the scope of the study, these elements will be examined in small houses living spaces. As a result of the survey to be made, a Housing Project in Yeşilköy will be examined comprehensively, evaluated in parallel with the survey results, and the Effect of Space Organization on Comfort Conditions in the small houses mentioned in the subject, will be revealed in detail. The scope, content and findings of the research are aimed to clearly reveal the facts that need to be done and taken into account in order to fulfil the necessary comfort conditions for people to be happy, peaceful and healthy in their small houses. It should not be forgotten that planning and applying the comfort conditions - that directly affect people, but without ignoring human health and without forgetting the fact that people use the spaces - is a phenomenon that must be fulfilled at every stage of any construction.
