Abstract (EN)

In today's business world, particularly in companies involved in exports, employees often experience working in cultural environments different from their own, at various stages of their careers. During this process, employees demonstrate differences in their ability to adapt to different cultural environments, perceive and understand the beliefs and sensitivities specific to those cultures, and effectively communicate and connect with individuals from diverse cultures. It is believed that these variations in cultural intelligence levels may be associated with job performance. In this context, a relational and quantitative research was conducted with 170 employees (80 female, 90 male) working in exports companies in Konya, Turkey. The research data was collected through face-to-face interviews using questionnaires, which included the Cultural Intelligence Scale, Job Performance Scale, and Personal Information Form. The reliability of the scales was found to be satisfactory when compared to previous studies. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was employed to analyze the relationship between Cultural Intelligence and Job Performance. The results indicated that the model constructed based on the analysis was valid. The research findings suggest that Cultural Intelligence has a significant impact on job performance.
