Maritime and sea wars in the first period of Islamic history

The first trials of maritime activities were established during Prophet (PBUH) and reached its ascendancy during Uthman. Not only Conquest of Cyprus, the military expeditions in several islands, and Battle of Zatüssavari (The Battle of Masts) reached its climax but also set a foundation for the conquest of Istanbul, however due to natural causes it wasn't able to take place. This intense military activity also brought trading with it. The military and commercial domination was monopolized by the Byzantine Empire in the region, which later passed into the hands of the Muslims. Basra and Kufa in the region of the Arabian Gulf which were established, turned into major trade centers of the world. Economic ties with India and China were established. Thus, the precious metals, slaves, silk cloths and spices of the Far East were sent to the West; ivory, pearls, slaves and Western food such as dates were exported to the Far East. Muslims did this by developing the Byzantine and Indian ships whose mechanizations they transferred while performing. Not only adapted these ships to their own cultural structures, but also made a great contribution to the maritime industry. However, in the Mediterranean Region the fact that the islands were not inhabited by Muslims, the inability to keep up with the technology, and the timely rehabilitation of the shipyards. Muslims lost their dominance in the seas. The aim of the research is the emergence of the first navy in the history of Islam and the reason for its emergence; The scope of the research is The Prophet (PBU) was limited by the Rashid Caliphs and the collapse of the Umayyad State.
