Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, determinations of the number of mycorrhizal fungus spores, root colonization, glomaline amount, seedling drying rates, fungal disease agents and the relations between them in a total of 25 soil samples taken from the greenhouses in Yemel Eğitim, Merkez, Sarıcasu, Sahil, Beykonak regions in Kumluca were aimed. In the study, the numbers of mycorrhizal fungus spores from the soil samples by wet sieving method, colonization rates by root cleaning and dyeing processes, and the amount of glomalin by spectrophometric method were determined. After planting, isolations were made from the diseased seedlings taken from the greenhouses according to routine mycological methods and fungal agents were identified. As a result of the analysis of soil samples, spore density, root colonization rates, and glomaline amount in the soil differed between greenhouses. These parameters were found to be high in some greenhouses in Kumluca Temel Eğitim and Beykonak areas. Although the rate of drying of seedlings varies between greenhouses, the highest drying rates in other locations except Beykonak and Sarıcasu were observed in one greenhouse. Among the reasons for drying after planting seedlings, Fusarium spp. including F. equiseti, F. oxysporum, F. poae, F. proliferatum, F. solani and F. volatile were isolated. Rhizoctonia solani, Macrophomina phaseolina, and Alternaria spp. were other factors causig seedling rot. As a result of the correlation analysis, a statistically significant positive correlation (P<0.05) was found between root colonization, the number of spores and the amount of glomalin, and while these parameters increased among themselves, there was a decrease in seedling drying rates.
