The value given to the Prophet by the Qur'an

Allah has chosen messengers among human beings to guide them in their lives in the world. In terms of morality and virtue, these messengers are the most outstanding examples of humanity. According to Qur'an, there are differences in degree among the messengers. The aim of this study is to put forth the value given in Qur'an to the Prophet (PBUH) by Allah's praise for his morality, exalting his glory, regarding obedience to him as obedience to Himself, submission to him as submission to Himself and disobedience to him as disobedience to Himself; addressing him by his prophetic title rather than his name, ordering believers to regard him as preferable to themselves, to respect him and to say salawat for him; making him a blessing for believers and mercy for the worlds; swearing on his life, consoling him when sad, supporting him all the time and against all people; exalting him with the blessings Maqam-i Mahmud and Kevser, and making him the last one of the messengers; forgiving his past and future; making his wives the mothers of believers and his ummah the most favourable ummah, and giving him the Qur'an, the most sublime book. The main reference books are the basic interpretation books and books on Islamic law and belief. The thesis consists of 110 pages. Key Words: Qur'an, Messengers, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), value.
