The characteristic features of the Jews and their reflections on today's Muslims

The first people who came into contact with the divine book were the Jews. Judaism, the oldest of the three heavenly religions, and Islam, the last divine religion, emerged in the same geography and are two religions that share some similarities despite the fact that the Jewish holy book covenant was distorted. In the early years of Islam, Jews and Muslims interacted in terms of being geographically close, being from the People of the Book, and trying to impose injustice on Muslims, and as a result, Jews were mentioned many times in the Holy Quran. In some verses, the Jews themselves were addressed and advice and warnings were given to them, but most of the time, their mistakes were mentioned, Muslims were warned against the Jews and warned not to fall into the mistakes made by the Jews. Being the oldest religion sent, Jews have strengthened their behavior over time, clarified their attitudes towards other people as a result of the events they have experienced, and turned their behavior into a character. The Jews defined themselves as God's beloved servants and over time began to become an active power all over the world, despite their small numbers, they managed to find supporters and get their wishes done through other people, they often saw themselves as superior to other people, so they wanted to live a privileged life in this world and became privileged. Claiming that they will continue life in the afterlife, and on the contrary to these claims, they are called a cursed people in the Quran. Jews and their characters are defined in the context of the Quran. As a result, a comprehensive examination of the typology of the Jews is necessary in order to enable us to stay away from the behaviors that our Lord does not find appropriate and criticizes. It is obvious that there is a need. In this study, the reasons why Jews are criticized, these mistakes, the characteristic features of Jews, and Jewish typology have been tried to be revealed by using the Holy Quran, so that Muslims can know the wrong behaviors that Jews are warned about and stay away from. As a result of factors such as the world order established today or people's whims and desires, it has been determined that the behaviors criticized by the Jews in the Quran are seen in most Muslims, and their reflections on their lives have been revealed. Since the Quran is the most fundamental source that determines the lifestyle that shapes and directs the Islamic society, the behaviors that the Almighty Creator criticized and warned for the Jews in particular and for all people in general were examined in the context of the verses, and the effects seen on Muslims today were tried to be revealed.
