Abstract (EN)
There are many researches about born global firms, which is the common concept of international marketing and international entrepreneurship. Due to its fast internationalization process compared to traditional international models. The researches about the born global firms emphasize that; industries, globalization, networks and entrepreneurs affect the born global firms. Entrepreneurs are more important than the other factors, because of being decision maker and the starter of internationalization. Born global firms internationalize more faster through entrepreneurial orientation that owned by the entrepreneur. The born global entrepreneur having three factors of entrepreneurial orientation, carries the born global firm one step ahead in the competition. A qualitative research is done on six born global firms located in Ankara, to find the entrepreneurial orientation factors which affect the internationalization process of born global. The data gathered from the participants while face to face interviews and are analyzed by coding. The research method is created by replacing these properties into tree diagram thorough taxonomy. Entrepreneurial orientation, composed of proactivity, risk taking and innovation, is emphasized in this study. General properties of entrepreneurs are; proactivity, risk taking and innovation. These properties are confirmed 356 through surveys. General properties of entrepreneurs have positive and negative effects on entrepreneurial orientation on born globals. These are some of the general properties of entrepreneurs that affect entrepreneurial orientation positively: Focus of competition, being innovative, being pioneer, being optimist, being fearless, disclaming barriers, taking lessons from bad experience, stability, being original, rational attitude, being patient, known as innovator. These are some of the general properties of entrepreneurs that affect entrepreneurial orientation negatively: Narrow point of view, fatalism, avoiding risky ventures, rational attitude, being contented, copying and multi dimensional thinking.
