A mathnawi on the Celali expedition of Kuyucu Murad Pasha: Furugi's Siyaveş-name (examination-text)

The human being, to whom all aspects of life turn to himself, is also at the center of scientific and artistic products. He builds a world with his work and positions himself as the hero at the center of that world. It is independent of all time distances and remains unaffected by changing conditions. The main subject for the past as well as in the life maintenance of this day is human. For this reason, especially when history studies are conducted through literature sources, an area where human is found to be the most intense appearance base emerges. Literary works with a historical quality and content take the axis of the people or characters that are required to protect their existence without being caught in the sieve of time. It becomes the main means of exhilarating and promoting the heroes whose life is worth telling. Numerous examples of that can be found in Ottoman history. As a type of narrative constructed around a hero, zafernames are sometimes written by poets in poetic form. Along with the exhilarating possibilities of poetry, all the vitality and glory of history circulates to a living paintings. This thesis contains the text of a zafername written to Kuyucu Murad Pasha, who lived in the 17th century and served the Ottoman Empire in various positions and who had made great efforts in suppressing the Celali rebellions after being finally appointed as grand vizier. It was transferred to the new letters and the analysis on this text.
