Abstract (EN)

The effect of cuttings residues (Pinus brutia ten.) On the morphology of cuttings obtained from red pine, which is the primary forest tree species that shows the most prevalence in the forests of our country, after the production is investigated. In the thesis titled entitled, it is aimed to investigate the importance of seed source, morphological features of seed and seedlings, the effects of cut residues on seedling development. The performance of seeds of Karsanti and Cehennemdere since germination (2018-2019) was evaluated. As a result of the evaluations, it has been determined that the bark, branch and needle processes obtained from the cut residues positively affect the development of the seedlings obtained from both seed sources. In the light of the obtained results, it was seen that the shell process was the most successful one, followed by branch and needle operations. The control process had the lowest growth performance. In the evaluations made on the characteristics of seedlings in the first and second growth periods (p <0.01), it was determined that there were positive statistical relations.
