Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the role of self-reflection and insight in the relation between high school adolescents attachment styles and psychological resilience degree. This study was conducted on 10th and 11th grade students in four high schools which take place in the city borders of İstanbul in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 educational years. This study includes two different working groups. The first one is the one which consists of 290 high school students in order to adapt self-reflection and insight scales on Turkish. In the second group consists of 568 high school students to investigate the role of self-reflection and insight in the relationship between high school adolescents attachment styles and psychological resilience degree. In the research content; personal İnformation Form, The İnventory of Parent Attachment to -mother form, the power of gathering oneself up scale and Self-reflection and İnsight Scale was applied. To make analysis of data SPSS.17.0 packaged software was used. In order to realise factor analyse Basic Components Method and Varimax Turning Method was used. To determine the resolution of the scale, Pearson Moments correlation ratio between before and after tests and to detect the differentiation between the tests T-test was referred. In order to determine whether there is a varying in the content of the research questions basic and multiple regression method was used. In the research it is understood that the applied scale consists of 19 items and 5 sub dimensions. It is found that there is a positive and meaningful relation between attachment and resilience and attachment has a meaningful influence on resiliency. It is found that the self-reflection and insight don?t have a role mediating variable on attachment and resilience. Key Words: Adolescence, Attachment, Resilience, Self-reflection, İnsight.
