Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, a more developed version of logistics villages, with an increased capacity and trade volume that is increased by taking advantage of the competitive elements brought about by globalization is discussed. This new concept is named as 'logistic district'. Furthermore, in this thesis, the current energy problem in the world and the fact that energy resources cannot be shared fairly are also revealed. As a solution to the identified problem, it was foreseen to meet the energy requirements of the logistics districts with renewable energy resources. The energy consumption values of logistics facilities and living areas have been determined and this amount of consumption has been adapted for the logistics district. Moreover, this practice includes a feasibility study. Another feasibility practice is determining where these facilities could be established in Turkey. All these notions were evaluated and the need for the concept is discussed as a result of the result of analyzes.
