Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in four replications according to the split plots experiment pattern in random blocks in the second crop growing period in the farmer land of Köprü başı village in Kızıltepe district of Mardin province in 2018-2019. In the experiment; 'ADA523' from Sakarya Corn Research Institute, 'TK6063' and 'OSSK644' from Tareks Seed, 'DKC6442' from Monsanto Seed and INDACO from Limagrain Seed were used as materials. In the experiment, sowing times (25 June, 05 July, 15 July, 25 July) constituted the main plots and the varieties (ADA523, TK6063, OSSK644, DKC6442 and İNDACO) constituted the sub plots. Among the 25 features examined in the study, when the sowing times are statistically analyzed; it was determined that green grass yield, ADF, acetic acid ratio, raw ash yield, plant height, stem ratio, plant stem diameter, plant stem ratio, plant leaf ratio, fleig score, KMT, hay yield, NDF, relative feed values, propionic acid silage crude ash ratio, silage crude protein ratio, silage dry matter ratio, silage crude protein yield and SKM were at the level of p≤0.01; DLG score and lactic acid ratio are important at p≤0.05 level; and dry matter yield, silage pH values and butric acid ratios were not statistically significant. According to the results obtained in the study, the variation between values was 260-318 cm in plant height, 20.4-25.0 mm in plant stem diameter, 51.4-55.4% in stem ratio; 18.8-20.5% in leaf ratio, 24.5-28.7% in cob rate; 6351-10173 kg/da in green grass yield, 1638-2603 kg/da in hay yield; 26.2-30.0% in silage dry matter ratio, 1772-2873 kg/dain silage dry matter yield; 7.36-8.18% in silage crude protein ratio, 126-193 kg/da in silage crude protein yield; 6.8-7.68% in silage crude ash rate, 108-220 kg/da in silage raw ash yield; 3.96-4.06 in silage pH value, 15.9-17.6 in silage DLG score, 98.5-103 in silage Fleig score, 61.8-66.1% in silage digestible dry matter ratio, 2.34-2.91% in silage dry matter consumption (KMT), 112-149 in silage relative feed value, 29.3-34.7% in ADF rate, 41.6-51.5% in NDF rate, and 9.81-10.14% in silage lactic acid rate. Among the varieties, the highest green grass yield was obtained from OSSK644 variety in the second planting time (05 July). According to the research results; In terms of green grass yield in Mardin/Kızıltepe ecological conditions, 05 July sowing of OSSK644 variety and 15 July sowing of DKC6442 variety can be recommended for silage quality.
