The life, writings, charter of waqf and library of Mehmed Emin Vahid Pasha

This study was prepared for the purpose of researching life, charter of waqf and the library of Mehmed Emin Vahid Pasha. Based on the idea that his writings and the reasons of establishing a library might not be accurately understood without researching life of Mehmed Emin Vahid Pasha, his life was researched in the light of archive documents and reference materials and his specific features were mentioned in the study. After the first part, charter of waqf and the writing lists were researched by transcribing and in conclusion the writings which are not survived till today were tried to be determined by comparison of the writings listed in the charter of waqf with current writing lists.
