The analysis of the studens environmental attitudes in vocational training high schools

This research aims to analyze the students' environmental attitudes in Vocational Training High Schools.It contains 318 students of Vocational Training High Schools in Kartal,İstanbul in 2013-2014 Educational Year.These students were chosen by the technique of cluster sampling. The data about the research were obtained by "Environmental Attitude Scale(Uzun and Sağlam,2006)" and "Personal Information Form".In the first part of the scale personal information are asked and in the second part there are 27 evaluation expressions. The data obtained from this scale was analyzed by using the SPSS programme.In the first part of the scale,frequency and percentage distributions were used to analyze the related datas;in order to define students'attitudes and perceptions arithmetic mean(normal frequency curve) and standard deviation were used;to state the differences among the attitudes, parametric analysis techniques (one way variance analysis, independent group t test) were used.It is tested that whether there is a significant difference among the views in the level of significance a=0.05. These are the results got by this research; 1-The environmental attitudes of students differ according to sex variants.This difference is significant for environmental manners in favor of boys,while it is significant for environmental thoughts in favor of girls. 2-There are no differences about the age,class,parents'education or parents' marital status of students. 3- The difference in subscale scores of environmental manners is significant according to school types.It is in favor of Religional High Schools. 4- The difference in subscale scores of environmental manners is significant according to parents'economical status.It is in favor of the less one. 5-In order to define the relations between organizational confidence and organizational culture ,Pearson Correlation was done and the relation between scores is significant in negative way.
