Abstract (EN)

[Vargeloğlu, Abdullah], [Muhammed b. Abdulmelik ed-Deylemî ve Tefsîrdeki Metodu], [Yüksek Lisans Tezi], Ankara, [2008]Muhammed b. Abdulmelik ed-Deylemî, who lived in the 6th century of the Hegira, was one of the significant scholars of his era. We do not know much about his life. He wrote about thirty books, most of which are mystical. One of his books is a commentary on the Koran. The book, called ?Kitâbu Tasdîkı?l-Ma?ârif? which is the subject of my thesis, contains commentary of the verses of the Koran needed by Sufis. In his commentary, Deylemî was especially influenced by Sulemî, which can be seen on almost every page of ?Kitâbu Tasdîkı?l-Maârif?. However, this effect is far beyond being a mere continuation of Sulemî as Deylemî put forward his own views whenever it was necessary.?Kitâbu Tasdîkı?l-Ma?ârif?? is a sophistical commentary. It also covers information on the fields of study such as mysticism, theology, and language. The author?s discernment and narration is remarkable.Deylemî, who belonged to the Sunnis in faith, fought against reincarnationists of his time, and made evaluations about seeing god contrary to those made by Mutezile.Deylemî was an İslam Philosopher free from fanaticism and had an open mental vision. His book, ?Kitâbu Tasdîkı?l-Maârif? although small in volume, is inclusive of lots of useful information on İslamic Sciences.Key WordsDeylemî, Tasavvuf, Kelam, Tewhid, Nefs, Reincarnationists
