The life and works of Murathan Çarboğa

Award-winning artist Murathan Çarboğa has given many kinds of works such as poetry, short stories, novels, letters, essays, memories, criticism, children's stories, fairy tales, etc. This study, which deals with Murathan Çarboğa, who had a place among the artists of the twenty-first century of Turkish Literature, has the title of "The Life and Works of Murathan Çarboğa". In this study, it is aimed to introduce the artist as a whole with his life, literary personality and works and also to contribute to the studies related to the period. In this study, which was shaped by scanning, examining and arranging the sources, the relatives of the artist were also interviewed. The findings about the artist and his works throughout the study are included in the conclusion section. In parallel with these developments, Murathan Çarboğa's life and personality are reflected in his works; that he traces the same themes in his poetry and prose works; It has been concluded that the poetic identity is dominant and there fore the poetic language is felt in all his works. In addition, it has been specified that the theme, structure, language and style in his works are compatible with each other. The psychology of the artist was also felt dominantly in the works.
