Body care in nebevi sunnah

The physical appearance of the human beings is in a condition that directly affects the whole area of the life. In this respect, the body care and protection related advices of Rasulullah (saw) who is the drawee of hymn declaration defining the order of the life, presents a great degree of importance for the human beings existing in the social life with their bodies. In this study, it is dealed with the behaviours and advices of the Prophet Mohammad (saw)'s concerning the body care and protection in the hadiths existing in the work of Kutub al-Sittah. This work consists of two parts. In the first part, Importance of human body in Quran and Sunnah is examined in terms of sociologic and physcologic. In the second part, Hadiths and exemplary behaviours of the Prophet (saw), which is related to human body and body care, are examined.
