Necdet Neydim's value education in children's literature works and the contributions of these works to Turkish teaching

In this work, it is dwelled on values education in children's literature works. It is understood the importance of chosen works according to values education. At first part, it is made statements about value concept. The answers of questions are explained like What is value, what are features, functıon? Later, it is given a place about value education in our country and in the world. The relation between value education and Turkish education is tackled. After that, child's image and child's access into literature department are studied.. Children's literature and value education concepts are compared together. Children's literature and the relation of Turkish education are treated together. Necdet Neydim's children literature works compose the system of the thesis. Thirteen children literature works which are chosen from these works compose as for sample. The research is done with qualitative research methods' document search. Chosen Works are done according to seven value fields revealed in Erol Güngör's professorial thesis. Samples about values in works are sorted in findings and comments section. Within Turkish Education reduplications, idioms and proverbs, routines, mimetic words are analysed. Found samples are ranged as tables. As a consequence, it is seen that analysed works are suitable with regard to values education. But it is determined that writer's works don't include all In the sense of Turkish education it is seen that there is one proverb in works . Samples according to proverbs are not found.
