Second language aqccuisition at kindergarten level and its reflection upon their attitude and success on the second language learning at primary school level

As international relations and cooperation among countries gain increased importance, so does the importance of learning a foreign language. Nowadays learning one of the internationally common languages is a must for people living within our global community in terms of building and developing economic, scientific, military, educational and cultural relations.Education plays a vital role in building the community consciousness as well as the socialization of individuals. There are many factors which effect language acquisition. This research tries to define ?what language is? and gives background information about how various linguists and scientists explain language. This research also attempts to prove the theory of Critical Period in Second Language Acquisition as well as examine many of the well known theories of language development and the importance of language acquisition at a very young age.Key words: Young learners, Language acquisition during pre-schooling, Critical Period.
