Investigation of the relationship between teachers 'perceptions of psychological citizenship behavior

In this study, it is aimed to determine the relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior perceptions of teachers working in official secondary schools in the central districts of Şanlıurfa province and to present suggestions about this issue and to show the level of this relationship varies according to the demographic characteristics of teachers. Descriptive-relational scanning model was used in the study,where guantitative research method was adopted. The universe of the research is composed of 1,495 secondary school teachers working in Şanlıurfa city center in 2017-2018 acedemic year.. The study was conducted on a sample of 300 people selected by simple unbiased sampling method. The findings of the study reveal that there is a statistically significant, strong and positive relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior. Moreover, only gender variable is an important variable in teachers' perception of psychological capital and organizational citizenship.
