Opinions of the administrators and teachers on selection, appointment and training process for school administrator: Uşak sample

This research was carried out to examine the opinions of the Administrators and teachers for selecting and appointing to the administrative positions(School director, 1st Assistant Director of the School, Assistant Director of the School) of Educational Institutions attached to the Ministry of National Education. The prepared Questionnaire for this purpose by the researcher; it was applied 105 School Administrators and 503 Teachers who works in the Schools in province of Uşak-Turkey in 2013-2014 academic year.The obtained Data from self-administered Questionnaires were anaylised by the SPSS Statistics 21.0 software in Computer.In accordance with the Evaluation of the obtained Datas ,it was used T-test to find difference between two groups in the comparison of the quantitative datas, the one way Anova test to compare parameters between groups In case of more than two groups and Scheffe test to identify groups causing differences. The Relationship between the variables of the study was examined by the Correlation Analysis. At the result of the research; In the School Administration it was determined that Teaching experiences of Applicants should be considered for administrative positions of the School definitely, it should be preferred to Applicants who has received undergraduate or graduate education, in the selection that is made for School Administrators, in field of educational Administration priority,The Administrators who will be appointed to the administrative positions of Educational Institutions, must be selected by administrator exam definitely, An interview should not be made for Applicants in the appointment to the administrative positions to Educational Institutions, For the School Administration,It should be given priority to Applicants who has in-service training courses and seminar certificates in the field of EYTEP, in the Appointment, Also teaching experience of the Applicants will be appointed to the School Administration and then Administration Experience (1st Assistant Director of the School, Assistant Director of the School) should be considered as evaluation criteria For all that, it was states that Opinions Of The Administrators And Teachers don't show any meaningful difference according to the variables of the gender,the branch and seniority.
