Abstract (EN)

Researches about school climate in Turkey were made according to the points of view that mainly belong to teachers and administrators. However the researches about school climate based upon the students which have a deep effect on them rather than the others are very limited and most of which are widely made in accordance with primary school students. That?s why it is intended to make positive contributions to the ones based upon secondary school students.The population of the research consists of the secondary school students of two boroughs of ?stanbul; Tuzla and Pendik in the academic year 2011-2012.The sampling group consists of 523 students.For the validity of the scale, structure and measurement, many accepted factorability criteria?s were used and therefore 202 items? factorability was examined. The vast majority of correlation coefficients were found as in 0.1 levels, and the important parts of it were found to be negative values ( = 0.084, SD= 0.034).It is realized that these coefficient values are out of the admissible factorability values. Kaiser-Meyer-Olkinmeasured value sampling adequacy was found to be 0.77. The value is over the admissible factorability value (0.6). Bartlett?s sphericity test has given significant results [2 (20301) = 39185,5 p < .01]. Anti image correlation values were figured out between .460 and .894. As a factorability criteria anti-image values of each item should be more than .05 that?s why the existing values have not fulfilled the required criteria standards All the communalities are over .3 (Min = 0.602, Max = 0.770). This shows that the variance of all the items all have in commonAfter getting the results of analysis of factorability, Exploratory Factor Analysis was performed, the current 202 issue?s were not possible to determine the factor structure of the functional.After the analyzes, the statistical calculations which were made for the validity and reliability of the values were realized scientifically unacceptable, therefore to develop a multi-dimensional perception of school climate scale for secondary school pupils do not have adequate levels of reliability and validity.Key Words: School Climate, Organization Climate, School Culture.
