Researching the relationship between the compressional work of cotton woven fabrics and the structural parameters of fabrics

The factors affect the handle feature of a fabric, start with fibres feature of cotton, continue with the features of yarns and complete with the features of fabric. There is a thought that the compressional feature of fabric has a relationship with a lot of parameters.In this study, the relationship between the structural parameters of fabrics and the compressional test results of the 62 cotton woven fabrics which has the different wave diagram, different yarn numbers, different number of yarns per unit length of warp and weft, different thicknesses and different twists of yarns, were investigated with the help of the software named ?SPSS? and the relationship were evaluated with the working results of public survey. In this method, interactions were evaluated with regression analysis under the knowledge of both objective and subjective opinions and were studied about to determine the structural parameters are important or not for the handle features of fabrics. The findings and results derived were discussed and related suggestions were presented.
