Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between participative leadership and employee creativity, focusing on the mediating role of organizational identity. The research was conducted at the Social Security Fund in Tripoli, Libya, from October to November 2024. Data were collected from 200 employees using electronic questionnaires, with demographic information and validated questionnaires assessing participative leadership, employee creativity, and organizational identity. The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between participative leadership and both organizational identity and employee creativity. Organizational identity was found to play a crucial mediating role in the relationship between participative leadership and creativity. Regression analysis demonstrated that participative leadership significantly influenced employee creativity, both directly and indirectly, through its impact on organizational identity. The results indicate that fostering a participative leadership style enhances employee creativity by strengthening their attachment to the organization. These findings provide valuable insights for improving leadership practices to foster innovation in the workplace.
